We got the pork belly, green onion jeon, and green grape makgeolli. The pork belly with garlic was so savory and the green onion jeon was the perfect level of crispy. The green grape makgeolli was also really refreshing and not too strong. The traditional interior was nice to look at and provided a cozy atmosphere. I really enjoyed the place for ending a night!

Love this spot for late night munchies and drinking with friends. The vibes inside are so fun and the decor is made to make you feel like you're drinking outside in Korea which is such a blast.

Food: All the food items are perfect for when you're drinking and there's a good variety of stir fried foods and even soups. Some of our favorites were:
Onggi aged soy sauce beef tar-tare: Perfectly flavored and the pears/apple were a nice touch.
Stir fried pork belly and kimchi: So tasty and good drinking food. This one went quick.
Tasty cheesy popping corn pancake: Cheese corn with a little more structure. Well flavored but kind of decadent.
Honey chicken: Run of the mill classic korean fried chicken. Well breaded with good flavor. Great for soaking up the alcohol haha.
Oden/Udon soup: Love the fish cakes on the stick and they had such a nice chew! Great for washing down the other fried foods.
Truffle potatoes: Your classic flavored fries but super good. Thin fries with crispy texture. REALLY NICE!
Tteokbokki: You can never go wrong with spicy rice cakes. Good sized portion for sharing.

You really can't go wrong with anything off their menu. For drinks, they have a ton of import beers, soju, and makgeolli (which we tried for the first time and it was amazing! Lowkey dangerous because it is so good) to choose from. We had such a great time here and it's located at the Source in Buena Park so there's lots of places to explore while you're waiting for a table and even to go to afterwards! Definitely will be back soon.

This place is honestly amazing. I live in Nevada and I have been dreaming about Misoolkwan since I first had it in August. A group of 11 of us showed up a few minutes after it opened and there was a wait so I will definitely recommend arriving right when it opens or a little earlier.

Once we sat down, we looked at the menu and decided to start with some blended makgeolli drinks and they were absolutely delicious and refreshing. It was the beginning of August so it was hot outside and this was so refreshing and all of the flavors were fun and delicious.

We chose this restaurant because we saw that they had raw marinated shrimp and let me tell you, it was a fan favorite. The shrimp was crunchy and not soggy and the flavor was nicely balanced. We also order the steak tartare and that was also very good. My aunt and uncle who usually do not eat raw meat loved both of the dishes so that means that it was superbly done. Another noteworthy dish was the pork belly and kimchi. Honestly everything we ordered was really good and you cannot go wrong here. I have been here twice in the past 4 months and I cannot wait for my next visit!

This place is in the Source and located on the 4th level. It's got this very cool vibe inside - Like you're sitting somewhere in Korea waiting for your food to come before traveling to your next destination.

This has all of your standard Korean food, so we tried their Hot Pot Tteok-bokki (24) and their Tasty Cheesy Popping Corn Pancake ($23). Their Tteok-bokki is really spicy! It's got these really thick glass noodles that are delicious! Two sausages, seaweed wrapped glass noodles that were fried before hand, slices of fish cake, and of course, tteokbokki rice cakes. I wish this dish was not as spicy as it was, I would have enjoyed it more.

Their Corn Pancake was like eating a large pizza - lots of cheese with sweet corn kernels....it was delicious.

One thing I didn't like was their tea; it tasted like it was burnt, or they steeped it in very hot water than chilled it over ice. It didn't taste right.

There is no tipping here, they add a tax onto your bill that goes towards funding all operations - not the employees (which we kind of raised our eyebrows at). Anyways, the tax was something like 10% of the total bill. Flag a staff member to pay your bill or to order more food - ours pretty much never came back after we got our food :).

First of all the ambiance and environment of the restaurant was very nice, especially for a late night gathering or a date. all of the food we ordered were super delicious

Pork belly: 5/5 it was crispy and paired well the the soft garlic and kimchi that came with the dish.

soy sauce shrimp and salmon 4.5/5 very fresh and the flavor was really good. the salmon was also very yummy i just thought it was a tiny bit on the saltier side

seafood pancake: had a good amount of seafood and was crispy on the outside and overall flavor was great!

Pretty good food and typical pocha prices. We enjoyed the gopchang stir fry and the rosé tteokboki, they were both tasty but wish the tteokboki dish had glass noodles too and that the stir fry had a little more garlic flavor.

The ambience is really nice and vibey and the standout of the night was the ice blended muscat maekgoli!
